Tasmanian bred gallopers and Tasmanian Sale graduates were once again at the fore during June.
In total, 45 races were conducted in Tasmania during this period, with over 64% (29) of the winners being Tasmanian-bred or Tasmanian Sale graduates. Of the 45 races, 18 were won by Tasmanian Sale graduates. This figure continues to highlight the amazing record this sale has achieved for producing a high number of quality gallopers.
Of particular note was the Launceston meeting on 17 June, with six of the nine winners being Tasmanian Sale graduates.
From Tasbreeders’ perspective, it is pleasing to note many of the astute trainers in Tasmania now regard this sale as constant source of quality, great value race horses.
