The Tasbreeders Annual Mid Year Function will be held at Country Club Tasmania on Saturday 4 September. The function, which commences at noon, will feature noted guest speaker Dr Peter Huntington from Kentucky Equine Research.
Peter is not only an equine Veterinarian, he is also one of Australias leading equine nutritionists. Peter has worked for a range of leading stud farms in a variety of countries and has also lectured extensively to breeders all around the world.Peter will speak on nutrition and general care for mares and weanlings, plus he will also cover the vital topic of yearling preparation. In particular, providing the right mix of exercise and feed for growing out well conformed and muscled yearlings.
This presentation will be particularly relevant to people entering horses in the upcoming yearling sales as it will hopefully assist you to maximise your return on investment in the sale ring.
The presentation will also include an opportunity for guests to ask Peter questions on a range of equine related topics.
Tickets are only $30.00 for members and $40.00 for non members. This includes a two course luncheon and drinks.
