The recently completed 2010 Tasmanian Autumn Racing Carnival has been another outstanding endorsement for the Tasmania Yearling Sale and Tasmanian bred gallopers. The carnival features a series of races for open company sprinter/milers, fillies and mares, 3yos and 2yos. In total, these races conducted over three meetings are worth an additional $330,000 in stakes. The annual Tasmanian sale has developed an outstanding reputation for producing consistent quality performers and the results from March certainly reinforce this fact. It is also worth noting that during the month of March, 33 races were conducted in Tasmania and 22 of the winners were either Tasmanian-bred or graduates of the Tasmanian yearling sale.
