Bowthorpe Double at Hobart

Longford thoroughbred breeders David and Patricianne Cochrane had quite a successful at the Tasmanian Racing Club's last meeting for the 2013/2014 racing season with Lacey Azz (Azevedo) and Spy Wears Prado (El Maggoire) both wining on the card. Both horses are bred and owner by Mr and Mrs Cochrane who own and operate Bowthorpe Stud which is situated just outside of Longford on the banks of the South Esk River.  Dianne Ray-Luttrell prepared by gallopers for the Cochrane and does a good job with her horses.  Read more of this post

Impressive two years olds at Hobart trials

Brighton trainer Stephen Lockhart may of found a handy galloper in the form of All Bar Madison (All Bar One) who was impressive at the Hobart trials this morning. The daughter of All Bar One won heat one of the two-year-old trials by three and half lengths defeating Bella Venus (Big Brown) and Shutterfly (Incumbent).  Read more of this post
